Hi, I'm Lori!

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and my passion is your poop!  Yes, I love to talk all things poop to help you find relief.

I too have suffered with gut issues my whole life and know how frustrating it can be trying different supplements, protocols, diets just to find no lasting relief.

My struggle with constipation and bloating started in child hood and  progressed into adulthood.

My skin itched,  I had acne and I looked 6 months pregnant by the end of each day.  I tried cutting out many foods from my diet, tried different lotions and creams to heal my skin...nothing worked.

Get to Know Me

Although I was a Dietitian, I could never really heal myself. My symptoms would improve for a short period time and then just come back.

Over the years, I sought out care from my primary doc who told me to follow a low FODMAP diet. I knew this was not the answer as I had already been cutting out foods and restricting my diet. I saw the gastroenterologist who said I was fine. Then there was the dermatologist who told me to stop eating dairy to halt my itchy skin. Years later, the doctor said "good luck” and sent me out the door with more prescriptions that still did not work.

My Passion and Purpose

After years of various protocols and eating the same five foods only to find no relief, I finally dug in and became a gut health expert.  I took many courses and was finally able to heal myself!

Now I specialize in gut health in my private practice but also love to work with clients on preventative care.

We also address factors such as sleep, stress, diet and exercise to enhance and build a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable. I offer testing as well for those who want more definitive answers to their symptoms and use protocols to help heal and nourish the body.  I prefer the “food first” approach but use supplements to support the body while healing.

On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Peter, for over twenty years and, together, have two amazing boys. Also we have two black labs, a cat and many chickens we tend. I LOVE to garden, walk, lift weights and just be in the outdoors.
